Low-Profile High Capacity Aircraft Scales Description
Low-Profile High Capacity platform aircraft scale systems are used for large fixed wing military transport or strategic aircraft, or commercial narrow and widebody aircraft for maintenance and weight and balance operations.
Employed in sets of three to twenty-four scales, these low-profile aircraft scales are used for aircraft with wheel weights up to 60,000 lb (30,000 kg.)
Scales are low-profile to minimize towing distance for ramps and single person portable for fast deployment and storage. The unique design eliminates the need to lift or carry the scale from the transport cart to the required position on the hangar floor. With a large 22"x 28" (56 cm x 71 cm) active weighing platform leading the industry for low-profile scales, this enables easier aircraft tire placement on the scales simplifying weighing procedures.
