Intercomp Honored with Minnesota Governor’s International Trade Award

Medina, Minnesota – Intercomp Company, a Minnesota-based designer and manufacturer of precision weighing and measurement solutions, has been named a recipient of the 2025 Governor’s International Trade Award, presented by Governor Tim Walz. The award recognizes Intercomp’s excellence in global trade and its success in exporting Minnesota-made products to international markets.
 
Founded in 1978 as a family-owned business, Intercomp has grown from a small Minnesota manufacturer into a trusted global supplier of scales and sensors used in aerospace, transportation, agriculture, racing, and military applications. Today, Intercomp products are deployed in more than 80 countries worldwide, supporting critical weighing applications ranging from commercial and military aircraft to vehicle weight enforcement and agricultural planting and harvesting systems.

The Governor’s International Trade Awards, now in their 40th year, honor Minnesota companies that demonstrate exceptional success in exporting and international investment. Intercomp was recognized in the Manufactured Goods: Small Company category.
