Minneapolis, Minnesota - Intercomp Racing, the leader in precision measurement solutions and wireless scale systems for all forms of motorsports, proudly introduces our new Billet Digital Wireless Tread Depth Gauge for communication with our Intercomp TirePro™ Mobile App. This tool is a high accuracy measurement device that quickly and accurately records, displays, saves and organizes multiple tread depths readings to the App.
This new gauge measures depth increments of 0.00005 in (0.001 mm), and is an ideal tool for use at the track in the pits to aid in data logging and long-term tire data management. The large 0.5 in digital display is combined with a Four Point CAD/CAM base design that is ultra stable and able to be easily viewed from any orientation on the tire. The base is machined from superior 6061-T6 Aircraft Grade Billet Aluminum and includes a Plastic Case with a high-density foam insert.
Intercomp’s Digital Wireless Tread Depth Gauge has an accuracy of ±0.0003 in (±0.007 mm), and can be used as a stand-alone gauge or can communicate to a device using the TirePro™ App. The flexibility of this system allows the collection of tire tread depth data on your own tablet or phone. This eliminates marking tread depths on paper pads or the tire itself, and the App is available for an Android™ tablet/phone or for use with an iPhone® or iPad® Device.
