The AC40-LP platform scale system uses shear-beam load cell technology - the most accurate and repeatable means for weighing aircraft.  Intercomp GaugeSense™ technology incorporated within the AC40-LP scales eliminates the scale warm up time, the need for centering of tires, and reduces time between weighing. This results in significant time savings for each weighing procedure in contrast with other manufacturer’s older, hydraulically actuated, piezo-sensing scale technology.
